I have an 8 month old mini doodle who has stopped sleeping through the night for the last month. He’s up 1-3 times, usually to go out and poop or pee. I’ve read about sleep regression, but we were doing so well before this. It’s been 5 weeks of this now. He goes to puppy play group too. Any insight would be super appreciated. I’ve tried changing his food and having him eat later and earlier, but nothing seems to help. Is he hungry, overtired, or do I need to take him to the vet?
My pup went through something similar. It was exhausting, lol. I found that adjusting his bedtime helped a bit.

What time did you switch his bedtime to? I’m wondering if that could help mine.
Sounds rough… Is he eating a lot during the day? Maybe he’s just hungry at night?

I thought about that too. He seems to eat well during the day, but IDK…
Have you tried keeping him awake a bit longer before bed? That sometimes works for my dog.

I haven’t… Do you think that could make a difference? I’m open to trying anything at this point.
My pup had a phase like this for a while. It turned out he just needed more exercise during the day.

More exercise? Like longer walks or what? I’m curious.

Yeah, I mean longer walks and some playtime. Just tiring him out more really helped.
If it goes on much longer, I’d definitely check with your vet. Just to be safe.

Good call. I might do that if I don’t see any improvement soon.
