I was considering purchasing this book to help my hyperactive and easily distracted dog by giving her more structure and confidence, but I’m worried that it’s really more geared toward professional AKC or agility training. Is this book excessive or appropriate for a typical dog owner looking to better their pet?

Regular owners would likely benefit greatly from it as well, especially if professionals find a lot of information there.

No, I don’t recall it being a book reserved for experts. Regular owners should be able to access it with ease.

No, it’s fantastic! I got my dad a copy because he doesn’t even play sports or go for daily walks with his dog. I heartily endorse this one.
