Is Alpha Dog Training Still a Thing?

Hey everyone, I’m kinda new to this dog training stuff, but I remember hearing a lot about “alpha dog training” a few years back. I tried some of those techniques on my pup, Max, when he was a puppy, but it didn’t really work out how I expected. He seemed more confused than anything.

So, I’m wondering if alpha dog training is still considered effective or if there are better methods out there?

Not a chance. Upon further study, I realized that the concept I had come up with was flawed and my earlier conclusions were essentially incorrect. Therefore, I have decided to retract the idea.
