Anyone who uses canned dog food has a nice new storage option available. Here’s the link to Amazon. I believe it is now only available in the United States. It’s an incredible product.
I’m not a fan of clicking on links, but using a plastic dogfood can cover and putting in the fridge for 3-4 days (usually canned food specifies that’s how long it lasts when refrigerated) is the best alternative. I’ve never had any problems with the food spoiling or my dog having gastrointestinal problems.
I was planning to say the same thing. We use those plastic lids without any problems. This new product may be fine, but we don’t have a cause to test it.
Though I don’t feed our dog canned food, I do provide her fresh food in sealed frozen bags. The three to four day countdown begins after it has been defrosted and opened, much like canned food.
