Poodle digs in my yard; I can't get her to stop doing this

My little poodle is quite the digger. She started digging out of habit because we had a mole problem the previous year, even though there aren’t any moles in the yard. My yard is hazardous because of all the holes, and it is destroying all of my vegetation.
I’m at a loss on how to stop this behavior. I had assumed that taking care of the rodent problem would fix things, but that hasn’t happened. She merely looks at me if I let her outside and attempt to observe her. While I am observing her, she does not excrete. Additionally, she won’t use the restroom while I’m around, which leads to clutter in the house.

I’m trying to think of ways to stop this behavior.

What kind of things can she do by herself in the backyard? Which domestic pursuits does she relish doing in by herself?

What kind of instruction have you followed up on to help with this habit so far?

What do you mean when you talk about negative reinforcement? If she uses the home restroom, have you completed this as well?

Give her a sand hole or other secure area to dig instead. To get her to dig there instead, bury toys here.

Make it harder for her to get to the digging locations. One option would be to lay chicken wire across the ground. While you wait for the grass to grow back, you can cover a hole with an upside-down laundry basket that has something heavy on it.

Does she ever go potty when out for a walk? Another solution would be to take her somewhere else to go potty on a regular basis.
