That sounds like a good idea! I never thought about taking him to the park after a walk. I’ll give that a go.
Is Buddy’s bark high-pitched? That can make things worse because it sounds even more alarming to other dogs and people. I’ve heard some dogs react less when their owners stay calm and just reassure them when they see other animals.

Yeah, his bark is pretty high-pitched. I guess I need to stay calm when it happens and reassure him. I’ll try that next time.
I had a similar issue with my dog. I used positive reinforcement when he saw other dogs, and that really helped. Every time he didn’t bark or freak out, he got praise and treats. It took time, but it worked!
