So my 5-month-old Boston terrier, Angel, refuses to potty train. We’ve been doing everything right, but no luck. We take her outside every 2 hours and even use a crate, but she keeps pooping all over the house. Anyone else in the same boat? Any tips?
I totally feel you! My Boston is super stubborn too. Have you tried taking her outside every 3 hours instead of 2? I’ve heard it helps with their routine.

Thanks, I’ll give it a try! I guess I might be rushing it too much with her.
Is she crate trained? That helped a bit with my dog. They start associating it with potty time when you follow a routine.

Yeah, she stays in it when we’re gone. She even goes in to nap sometimes. She’s not always fond of it, but she stays in there.
Boston terriers are so stubborn. But seriously, the key is consistency and patience. You gotta praise them BIG TIME when they do go outside!

Totally! I’ve been using treats, but maybe I need to make a bigger deal about it.
If you’re using any sprays to help train her, make sure you’re spraying them in the right spots. I used this potty training attractant in my yard, and it worked wonders.

That’s a great idea. I didn’t think of trying sprays for the yard. Thanks!
Have you tried tethering her to you or blocking off more areas? I know it’s a lot, but it might help with stopping the accidents.

Yes, I’ve tried tethering. She’s just not getting it yet, and I don’t have much space in the house for a playpen.
