Does this spay incision seem good?

I had my dog spayed on Wednesday, September 11th, thanks to a low-income spay/neuter charity at a vet approximately 30 minutes away.

I have low vision and am concerned that her incision is infected; could someone kindly confirm whether it is or not?

I emailed a picture to the vet yesterday, and they thought it looked good, but I’d need some further comments.

I haven’t taken her cone off at all, so I doubt she’s been able to taste it.

I’m really scared that if it gets infected, I won’t know what to do because the spaying costs all of my money, and it will take me some time to save up again.

We are not veterans here. I’m not a veteran. But, having seen a number of spay incisions, this one does not appear infected to me. And if your veterinarian says it’s fine, don’t worry about it.

It’s cool! I’m just searching for second opinions; thank you!

I honestly cannot see well enough to tell for myself, so I’d rather be cautious than sorry.

Greatly appreciated :slightly_smiling_face:

If you have any doubts, email the image to your veterinarian.

The OP did submit it to the vet, who reported everything looked good. They merely wanted different perspectives.
