The dogs can now finally enter our backyard through a doggy door since we recently relocated to a new home. We had to walk them and scoop before we could do this. The dogs choose our concrete patio as their default location when they go outside to relieve themselves. Any kind suggestions on how to surpass this? We’ve tried vinegar that has been diluted, but it doesn’t appear to help.

What is the age of these dogs? What is their general level of mobility? Does getting from the patio to the lawn need steps?

@pavlova Nine and Fourteen, however they are both reasonably quick. Both leap from the doggie door onto the patio without any issues. It’s a direct shot to the grass from there. They constantly run alongside the fence. There, they simply don’t handle their business.
