Took my dog on a canoe ride today... anyone else try this?

I just took my dog Talos on his first canoe ride today and it was such a blast. He was a little nervous at first, but he did pretty well overall. I’m so proud of him. Anyone else have dog adventures like this?

That sounds awesome. I’ve been meaning to try canoeing with my pup too. How did he handle it?

He was a bit wobbly at first, but once he chilled out, he just lay there and enjoyed the view. So cute.

Yeah, for sure. We worked really hard on training and impulse control. It was totally worth it.

We worked with a trainer for a few months. A lot of fetching and socializing. It helped him a lot.

Oh, fetching is when you throw a ball and the dog brings it back. It’s a great way to tire them out.

We go hiking a lot. He’s my little assistant when I check the trails for my job. It’s so much fun.

Thanks. It really is. I remember how tough the beginning was, but now it’s all worth it.
