I am posting this on my parents’ behaviour. My six-year-old Old English sheep has been trained to use the potty and has not urinated inside the house in the previous five years. The dog has been urinating on the SAME SPOT of the carpet in the middle of the night for the last week. Every night at around ten of the clock before we go to bed, we take her outdoors, where she urinates. Does she have a motive for suddenly urinating in the same location? Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
Start by observing any changes in your dog’s health. Issues like urinary tract infections or other health problems can alter their behavior. If you notice signs such as increased thirst, lethargy, discomfort, or changes in appetite or coat condition, it’s important to consult your vet. Regular check-ups and monitoring your dog’s overall well-being are crucial for early detection and treatment.
